Leads Direct believes that your success is our success! The LeadsDirect network is a discount lead site. We've been in business since 2003. To help you use the site, we've put together the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) that our clients have asked over the years.

How fresh are the Life Insurance Leads ?

Life Insurance Leads are posted 24 hours a day, 7 days per week in real time. For example, when a consumer clicks "submit" on one of our, (or our partner) web pages, the leads are instantly entered into the database. We age the leads on a 24 clock, (not a business day), so a lead that is "new today" will labeled that way until the 24th hour after it was posted.

How are the Life Insurance Leads generated?

Life Insurance Leads are sourced from our network of web sites as well as through outside affiliates, or via consignment from other lead aggregation web sites. All our leads are consumer contributed internet leads that include email and phone number 100% of the time.

What kind of closing ratio should I expect?

Closing rate is heavily dependent on the person doing the closing! That said, our clients report back that 10-20% of the leads we provide result in sales in the short term.
Some tips for closers: Call the consumer quickly. Be persistent. Use a leads management system whenever possible, If you haven't gotten in touch with the consumer, put the lead in your tickle file to call in 3 or 4 weeks. Aged leads sometimes close better than new!

How does your pricing system work?

We let the age of the Leads drive our pricing. We adjust the price of any given lead based on how long it has been in our system. We start with a base price for the freshest leads and discounted from there. Each lead price is marked to the left and will decrease in price over time.

Can I replace a "bad" lead?

Yes, we’ll replace a lead if the consumer has given us bad contact information (i.e. phone number not in service) or the lead is a fictitious person or a person “in the business”. We will also replace a lead if it is a duplicate for one that you have already purchased on this web site.
In addition we will at our discretion offer a courtesy credit if the consumer has already completed the transaction or the consumer claims that they (or any member of their family) did not make the inquiry.
Note:We do not accept replacements on aged data (leads that were over 14 days old at the time of purchase).
To submit a lead for replacement you can use the "support" tab on the lead details and submit a request using the form provided.

I've lost my password. Can you resend it to me?

The site will automatically e-mail instructions to reset your password. To request, simply click on the "forgot password" link on the login page.

How can I view my account transaction history?

You may view your purchase credits and other transaction history by logging into the site, and then clicking on the “Account” section in the side menu then on the "Billing" tab. Your transaction history will be displayed there.

What do I need to do to use a credit card for my purchases on this web site?

Our site stores your credit card in an encrypted state, and only uses the card when you make a purchase. We do accept all of the major credit cards for lead purchase payments.

I did not get a lead that I purchased. Can I have it resent?

You may view your leads by logging into the site, and then clicking on the “My Leads link in the side menu. Once in the My Leads page, click on the purchase order to view your purchased leads. The "Export Options" button in the top right allows you to save your leads in a variety of formats including CSV and Text.

How can I see if (and how many) credits I have in my account?

You may view your available credits by logging into the site, and then clicking on the “Account” section in the side menu then on the "Balance" tab. Your available credits will be displayed there.

How do I use/apply my available credits?

You may use/apply your available credits by adding the leads you wish to purchase into your shopping cart and clicking on "Purchase Leads" button. If you have available credits they will be automatically applied ot the invoice that is generated. You can toggle the use of your credits on/off (if available) by using the check box in the bottom left of the checkout window.
